stuck pigs do it hard-core

whenever you do something "to the extreme," which i should not need to remind some people, is the extent to which vanilla ice rocks the mic [rophone], you are doing it the way a stuck pig would do it.

i don't know how a stuck pig differs from an unstuck pig, but people use the phrase "... like a stuck pig" to say that something was happening to the utmost extent.

in to kill a mockingbird, bob ewell testifies that his mayella was yellin' like a stuck pig, and the judge immediately warns him to watch his language. i started to wonder how a stuck pig referred to something obsene. i'm gonna look that up.

okay, most hits on google turned up with 'bleeding' like a stuck pig... so a pig on the butcher block may be said to have been "stuck" with a knife in the throat. i don't know what's obsene about that...

but so people are using "stuck pig" in other instances, like

screaming like a ...
kicking like a ...
crying like a ...
running like a ...

seems like stuck pigs do a lotta stuff before they ever get to dying.
