just a few things...

first of all, for anyone who doesn't know, penicillin is tasty in a bad way. i would never say it is not tasty, because it certainly has a taste. as people would say in Newspeak, in 1984, "it is ungood." which leads be to second of all, i'm reading, by personal request, 1984. within the first few pages, the book refers to a 'new language' which is defined with etymology in an appendix to the book. so, rather than going on to page 5 or whatever, i'm reading the appendix (299-312) so i can understand this language.

the reason i'm using penicillin is cuz i had my wisdom teeth taken out today... angie, this girl i know :), took care of me for the day by not letting me walk or drive into traffic, shopping for liquids for me to consume (in the blistering heat and no ac in her car), and renting a happy/sad movie for us to watch, and keeping me on the meds i'm supposed to have. what a good person. and after she dropped me off at my house today, she realized i didn't have the pudding and jello cups she bought me, so she came all the way back to bring them to me. wow.

okay, and no one is finishing the harry potter book so i can talk to them... angie, roberta, bethany, thomas blah blah blah, they all haven't finished it... the only person i know who's finished it is rae, and i forgot to ask her about it tonight when she called. so, i'm all alone, afraid to spoil anyone's reading and so unable to discuss the book. i think i'll put it in a 'draft entry' and then publish it after people finish reading. just hafta be careful not to publish it on accident too soon.

oh, dave matthews is awesome. we saw the DMB at alpine valley last night, (me, angie, terri, dan & janel). it was cool, but actually really humid and hot. and crowded. but the music was good. my favorite song they played was 'you never know'
