The Full Moon on 12/26/04

Does anyone know if there is an actual explanation for crazy behavior during a full moon? I know that the moon is at it's furthest from the sun during a full moon, and that the moon's pull on Earth is opposite of the sun's pull. I don't know what that has to do with crazy behavior.
